IPHONE AND ANDROID CAMERA TIPS
Before You Start
- Clean up the area – Remove hoses, tools, and clutter around the pool.
- Check the lighting – Aim for natural light. Early morning or late afternoon gives you softer, more flattering light.
- Clean the lens – Use a soft cloth to wipe your camera lens for a clear shot.
Tips for Taking the Shot
- Use landscape (horizontal) orientation – This works best for full pool views.
- Avoid zooming – Physically move closer instead of zooming to maintain image quality.
- Tap to focus – Tap the screen where you want the camera to focus (e.g., the center of the pool).
- Hold steady – Use both hands or rest your elbows on something stable.
- Turn on gridlines – In Settings > Camera, enable the grid to help align your shot and keep the horizon straight.
Angles & Composition
- Wide shot: Stand at one corner of the pool to capture the full layout.
- Detail shot: Focus on standout features (liner patterns, vinyl covered steps, safety cover hardware, etc.).
- Drone shot (if available): A bird’s-eye view adds a wow factor.
Pro Tip: Take each angle from both low and standing height to see which one looks best.
