Hydra Pools has been manufacturing inground vinyl pools in East Tennessee since 1984. We are a family-owned American manufacturer with facilities in Athens, Sweetwater and Niota, Tennessee.
From pool walls and vinyl liners to steps, safety covers, coping and the exclusive Aqua Genie® skimmer, Hydra builds the products that help bring backyard pools to life. Every pool is made with the same goal in mind: lasting quality, dependable performance and a backyard your family can enjoy for years.
Who Hydra Pools Is
Hydra Pools is a family-owned company with deep roots in American pool manufacturing. Our story started with polymer pool walls in 1984, and over the years, we have continued to grow, improve and develop new ways to make vinyl pools stronger, more flexible and easier to enjoy.
Today, Hydra manufactures complete vinyl pool systems from three East Tennessee facilities. As a result, the key parts of your pool are built by one company, with one standard of quality, and one team standing behind them.
We believe a pool should fit your home, your yard and the way your family wants to use it. That belief has shaped our product development for more than 40 years, from our steel and polymer wall systems to our 52-inch semi-inground pool options, vinyl liner choices, safety covers and Aqua Genie® skimmer system.
Innovation Built Around Real Backyards
Backyards are not all the same. Some are flat. Some are flat, others sloped. One yard might be perfect for a traditional inground pool, while another calls for a design that works with decks, elevation changes or tighter spaces.
That is why Hydra continues to develop products that give homeowners and builders more options. We offer 48-inch and 52-inch steel wall panels so you can have more depth and design flexibility. Plus, our 52-inch semi-inground pool system adapts to yards where a standard pool may not be the best fit. For strength and corrosion resistance, we build our polymer wall systems to withstand tough soil conditions and saltwater environments.
We also manufacture vinyl liners, safety covers, steps, coping and the exclusive Aqua Genie® skimmer. We design each product to help your pool look better, work better and last longer.
